The Role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients. Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitoring security alarms, and access control systems to ensure the safety and security of a location.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to check for any security breaches, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Managing access to the premises by verifying credentials, checking IDs, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Emergency Response: Responding to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
• Report Writing: Documenting security activities, and incidents, and providing detailed reports.
• Customer Service: Interacting with employees, visitors, and guests to provide assistance and maintain a safe environment.
• Resolving conflicts or disturbances and ensuring a peaceful environment.
• Knowing and implementing emergency procedures, such as evacuations, first aid, and fire safety protocols.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Identifying potential security risks and suggesting measures to mitigate them.
• Team player with ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Undertake all reasonable requests made by the Security Supervisors, Site Security Manager or client.

 Is this you

• At least 18 years old
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional 
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
