The Gatehouse Security & Access Control role for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) operates under the principles of "Modern Luxury" and the JLR Creator Codes. 

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Access Control & Traffic Management: Managing vehicular and pedestrian entry/egress points, checking driver identities, and validating vehicle registrations against scheduling databases.
• Visitor Management: Registering incoming guests using the JLR Visitor Booking System and coordinating with internal hosts for proper escorting.
• Asset & IP Protection: Safeguarding JLR staff, machinery, and proprietary automotive designs through vehicle passes, random searches, and strictly controlled access provisioning.
• Surveillance & Patrols: Operating the gatehouse control systems, monitoring CCTV feeds, tracking blind spots, and conducting external perimeter patrols.
• Communication Hub: Coordinating radio frequencies using the phonetic alphabet, and briefing incoming third-party personnel.
• Record Keeping: Managing physical key logs, and documenting accurate incident reports for any security or safety breaches

Is this you

• At least 18 years old- Required for a licensable role 
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Driving licence essential for the role
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional 
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
